Phase 01

Discovery & User Research

We start by analyzing the unique context of a mobile user. What do they need to accomplish in 30 seconds while waiting for a train? I conduct stakeholder interviews and user research to define the app's core value proposition and identify the critical "on-the-go" use cases.

Deliverable

A Mobile User Research Report, clear User Personas (focused on mobile habits), and User Flow Diagrams that map the app's core architecture and navigation.

Phase 02

Mobile-First Wireframing & Architecture

I design the app's structure and layout from a mobile-first perspective. This means focusing on clear information hierarchy, large touch targets, and accessible navigation patterns (like tab bars). We create interactive low-fidelity wireframes to test and validate these core flows.

Deliverable

A complete App Map and Interactive Low-Fidelity Wireframes (in Figma) that allow us to test the core navigation and functionality before any visual design begins.

Phase 03

High-Fidelity UI & Prototyping

This is where the app's personality comes to life. I apply a polished, modern UI, designing for both iOS and Android. This includes respecting native platform conventions (like navigation bars, modals, and system fonts) while ensuring a strong, consistent brand identity that stands out.

Deliverable

A full set of High-Fidelity Screen Designs and an Interactive Prototype that looks and feels exactly like the final app, ready for user testing, investor pitches, or stakeholder approval.

Phase 04

Design System & Developer Handoff

I build a modular Mobile Design System with all necessary components (buttons, form fields, navigation elements). Finally, I prepare a meticulous handoff package for your developers—whether they are building for native iOS/Android, React Native, or another hybrid framework.

Deliverable

A live Design System in Figma and a comprehensive handoff package with all necessary assets and specifications for development.
